Currently Watching: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I haven’t seen this film in years… probably because it is my least favorite Harry Potter film. Seriously, is there anyone out there that really likes this film? I would love for them to tell me exactly why. The film is unnecessarily long, but it has three really awesome scenes: the Quiditch match, the wand duel and the chamber of secrets scene. Besides that it’s all pretty meh.

Currently Watching: Star Trek.

I haven’t seen this film in months, but playing Mass Effect 2 has made me want to watch space related things. God, I love that opening scene so much! You know, watching this has made me wonder about Star Trek 2. J.J. Abrams needs to hurry his ass and make this happen pronto. Also, since Star Trek is a remake is it possible that in the future we will get Star Wars remakes as well? That would be so terribly weird.

Currently Watching: Road to Perdition.

I’ve alway, always wanted to watch this film and it’s kinda weird that it has taken me this long to finally see it. I don’t what the film is about but with Tom Hanks, Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig I’m sure this is going to be an awesome film. Here’s hoping there’s some badass action as well.

Currently watching: Pulp Fiction.

After all the great films Tarantino has made, Pulp Fiction is still his best film in my opinion. The script… that script is just… there aren’t enough words to describe its genius. Every time I watch I keep wishing for John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson to team up again with Tarantino and make another film. I know it won’t be the same, but I just think they have never been as awesome and as cool as they were here. Yeah, I love this film.

Currently Watching: The Others.

Watching this film for the essay that I need to do on transnational cinema. This is one of the reason why I love being in film studies, it makes me watch extraordinary films and then write about them, which I love doing by the way. The Others is still, in my opinion, on of the best scary films ever made and it has the absolute best twist ending.
