Goodbye, Baby by Richard Gibbs.

Now that I’ve finished Battlestar Galactica I feel like this huge hole is taken over my days, I’ve been so used to watching at least one episode a day. But this awesome and brilliant score is keeping me sane for time being.

A couple of minutes ago I finished watching the series finale of Battlestar Galactica and even though I only started watching this show less than a month ago, I grew to genuinely love the characters and pretty much everything about this show. Battlestar Galactica is truly one of the best TV shows ever created and that series finale… was fucking brilliant. It was everything and more than a series finale is expected to be and fucking cried like crazy in the end. So gimme me a sec while I fail to try to handle my emotions…

Starbuck Disappears by Bear McCreary.

The score of Battlestar Galactica is by far one of the best scores I’ve ever heard. It is unique, dynamic, beautiful and manages to perfectly fit any mood or moment. With each season it grew and become something that is as iconic as the show itself. Pure brilliance.

So I just finished watching the finale of season 3 of Battlestar Galactica and… Okay, I’ve been literally freaking out and saying “Oh My God?!” for the past 10 minutes straight. HOLY. MOTHERFUCKING. BEAUTIFUL. SHIT. What the fuck happened?! I can’t even process the whole thing. I love the way this show never ceases to surprise and shock in such a way that you never see it coming, but once the reveal happens it sort of make sense. That finale is by far one of the best I have ever seen and it just left me with a billion questions. Damn, that’s fucking good television.

Just finished season 2 of Battlestar Galactica and while this finale didn’t deliver the shock that last season’s finale did, this finale has certainly changed the dynamic of the show. I am really curious and intrigued as to how things will pan out in the next season. Overall, season 2 was fucking brilliant delivering on some truly exciting, emotional and epic moments. Again, if you haven’t started watching this show go do it asap.

Metamorphosis Five by Philip Glass.

I started watching season 2 of Battlestar Galactica today and during the second episodes Starbuck plays this song in her home. You have no idea how happy this made, it made me appreciate that character on a whole new level. This is one of those very minimalist songs that is able to conjure up such a level of melancholy that it just grips you from the first note.

The Shape Of Things To Come by Bear McCreary.

Among the many surprises in Battlestar Galactica was how amazing and evocative the music is. I don’t know exactly what type of music I was expecting, but as the story progresses the music’s brilliance is constantly increasing and enhancing all the complexities of the show. This song in particular made that feeling of epic tension in the finale truly palpable.
