Impressions of a Cinematic Life

So I just finished watching “The Other Woman” episode from Mad Men. I used to believe that Game of Thrones, after having an excellent season 2, should be the front-runner to win an Emmy for best drama series. But yet again Mad Men has proven why it has won 4 years in a row and why it should win once again. This episode, in all honesty, was just so fucking disgusting. I felt dirty looking at what most of these characters did and I never expected for something like this to happen to Joan. Christina Hendricks has been a real force this season but oh my god her character has gone to a really dark place. It all feels so tainted and added to that is Peggy Olsen finally standing up for herself, I mean holy shit. That last scene with her and Don killed me. The only time I cry in Mad Men is when something happens between Don and Peggy. What a challenging, brave yet masterful episode.

P.S. Pete Campbell should fucking rot in hell. I have lost all my sympathy for that character.
