Started and finished reading On The Head of a Pin by Walter Mosley today on the drive back home. I had zero expectations for this short novel and I was pleasantly surprised by how overwhelmingly thoughtful and amazing it was. The story was quite simple but it introduced some really interesting and intriguing themes that constantly made me think and re-think certain things. I love when a book manages to do that, that’s when you know you’re reading something special/good. And the protagonist is easily one of the most endearing and relatable I’ve read in a while. I highly recommend it! I’ll start reading the other short novel later today perhaps.
