Exogenesis: Symphony, Pt. 2 (Cross-Pollination) - Muse
Muse has created pure perfection with the Exogenesis pieces. A beautiful movement of music that is epic in every single way. It takes you on an adventure through a fantasy world you’ve never encountered before. Today I was listening to this album as I was by my college library’s window looking towards the New York skyline on this dark and gloomy day. The view was straight from an apocalyptic sci-fi Hollywood movie, and combined with the music it made it a perfect escape from reality. Some songs make you think about life, they are real. Others, like this one, lets you escape out of the confides of reality and into a fantasy world of grandeur.
